You are looking at the first painting in a 52 week series of landscapes that I will be posting on my Instagram. I have recently become interested in the idea of creating weekly projects to explore and improve upon my skills. I have been feeling pulled toward painting landscapes for the first time in my life, which is surprising, since I only know myself as an abstract painter. Some of my landscapes will be imagined, while some will be painted in real-life settings, or from photographs. This first landscape was created in acrylic paint on paper, and I imagine that I will paint in various mediums throughout the year.
